Sew Your Own Kimono with Geraldine Sykes

Spend the day with Geraldine and sew your own kimono.
During the day you will use your pattern to cut out your chosen fabric, whether it be something soft and floaty or traditional patterned cotton; following Geraldine's expert guidance you will sew the pieces together and take home your very own kimono.
You will need to purchase a pre-cut copy of the pattern Geraldine has created for this workshop at £6.
Detailed requirements will be sent in advance of the day however you will require a sewing machine with all its feet, needle, bobbin, power and pedal, general sewing kit including paper and fabric scissors, pins etc. You may also like to bring a notebook and pen.
As well as Saturdays, Geraldine also teaches classes on Thursdays during the day and Thursday evenings. For more information about Geraldine's classes and workshops click here.
The day runs from 10.00 - 4.00. There is a break for lunch at 12.30-1.30.
In addition to spending your time crafting there is a coffee shop on site - O For Coffee. Tudor Rose Patchwork offers students 10% discount on anything consumed from O For Coffee. As well as a large selection of hot and cold drinks, the menu includes jacket potatoes, sandwiches, paninis, toasties, soups. For those with a sweet tooth there is also a variety of cakes baked on site including gluten free and vegan options.

Cancellation Policy:

Should Tudor Rose Patchwork have to cancel a workshop you will receive a full refund.

Should you wish to cancel your attendance on a workshop more than 30 days before the workshop date you will receive a refund less our £5 administration fee. Tudor Rose Patchwork may be able to transfer your booking to another date.

Should you wish to cancel your attendance on a workshop less than 30 days before the workshop date, your payment will only be refunded if we are able to fill your place, less our £5 administration fee.

Refunds will be made to card or paypal account that the original payment was made from or can be taken in the form of goods or other workshops or group dates to value of the refund being made.

If a pattern is available for the workshop and no refund is able then Tudor Rose Patchwork will arrange for you to receive the pattern.

Patterns are not available for workshops that you have not attended or paid for.

Patterns remain the property of the tutor and should not be copied, passed on or used for teaching purposes without the permission of the tutor.
