Message from Janet: If students wish to continue with projects they have already started in one of my workshops I am always happy for them to come along and work on these however it is helpful if I know what they are working on so that I can bring the correct samples, equipment etc.

Three Pocket Phone Bag
This three pocket phone bag is perfect for when you are out and about. The pockets are roomy enough for a phone, some keys and cards. The added strap can be worn cross body so is great from a security point of view or for dog walking.
Janet has made the bag in cotton fabrics and also with a linen outer and cotton lining and it works well with both fabric types.
You will be able to make two or more bags during the day.

January and February - Secret Curves Quilt
Stitch a quilt where you create the illusion of curved piecing when in fact there is not a curved seam to be stitched. The quilt is machine pieced with a small amount of foundation paper piecing and consists of two blocks which when combined create an optical illusion. Fat Quarter friendly.
Janet has made her quilt in a red and green colourway but we are sure it will work in most colour combinations or even in scraps.
March and April - Busy Book
Perhaps you have a little one in your life and would like to make them a felt activity book. If so, these are a perfect workshop for you. The book is designed to keep little fingers busy for hours - matching colours and numbers, tying a shoe lace, filling Noah's Ark with animals, putting Humpty Dumpty back togther again, learning animal names and exploring shapes. There is much scope to personalise the book.
May and June - Sound Waves Quilt
Fabric strips in graded colours move up and down like sound waves across the quilt. This is an excellent project to use up 2.5" strips of fabric scraps and there is great fun in grading the fabric colours into a pleasing design.

As well as a large selection of hot and cold drinks, the menu includes jacket potatoes, sandwiches, paninis, toasties, soups. For those with a sweet tooth there is also a variety of cakes baked on site including gluten free and vegan options.
