Caroline will teach you how to stitch these beautiful designs and create your own Japanese fabric bag. Traditionally, these were the original sustainable shopping bag, taken to the store or market and used to carry rice home to the kitchen. You can use yours for keeping small crafting bits, jewellery or perhaps make up. Gift the bag to a friend or even use it to hold another present.
You will sew on the machine and embellish by hand with a range of Sashiko patterns. The finished bag will be reversible giving you two different looks. You will have the choice of 3 bag sizes.
Learn a little about Japanese culture, seasonal influences and hear about Caroline's experiences of her time spent living in Japan where she studied with skilled craftspeople.

In addition to spending your time crafting, Tudor Rose Patchwork offers a special lunchtime menu at O For Coffee for students. You can choose from a selection of jacket potatoes, sandwiches, paninis, toasties and soups.

Should Tudor Rose Patchwork have to cancel a workshop you will receive a full refund.

Should you wish to cancel your attendance on a workshop more than 30 days before the workshop date you will receive a refund less our £5 administration fee. Tudor Rose Patchwork may be able to transfer your booking to another date.

Should you wish to cancel your attendance on a workshop less than 30 days before the workshop date, your payment will only be refunded if we are able to fill your place, less our £5 administration fee.

Refunds will be made to card or paypal account that the original payment was made from or can be taken in the form of goods or other workshops or group dates to value of the refund being made.

If a pattern is available for the workshop and no refund is able then Tudor Rose Patchwork will arrange for you to receive the pattern.

Patterns are not available for workshops that you have not attended or paid for.

Patterns remain the property of the tutor and should not be copied, passed on or used for teaching purposes without the permission of the tutor.
