Make a stunning Japanese flat doll in this one-day workshop. Use rich and gold embossed patterned cotton fabrics to make her kimono and Obi belt and add in braids and ribbons to decorate the kimono sleeves. You will learn how to make a padded flat doll and how to fold and stitch your decorative fabrics to create this much-loved classic Japanese look. Beads and further embellishments will be used to personalise your doll.

In addition to spending your time crafting, Tudor Rose Patchwork offers a special lunchtime menu at O For Coffee for students.  You can choose from a selection of jacket potatoes, sandwiches, paninis, toasties and soups. 

Cancellation Policy:

  • Should Tudor Rose Patchwork have to cancel a workshop you will receive a full refund.
  • Should you wish to cancel your attendance on a workshop more than 30 days before the workshop date you will receive a refund less our £5 administration fee.  Tudor Rose Patchwork may be able to transfer your booking to another date.
  • Should you wish to cancel your attendance on a workshop less than 30 days before the workshop date, your payment will only be refunded if we are able to fill your place, less our £5 administration fee. 
  • Refunds will be made to card or paypal account that the original payment was made from or can be taken in the form of goods or other workshops or group dates to value of the refund being made.
  • If a pattern is available for the workshop and no refund is able then Tudor Rose Patchwork will arrange for you to receive the pattern.
  • Patterns are not available for workshops that you have not attended or paid for.
  • Patterns remain the property of the tutor and should not be copied, passed on or used for teaching purposes without  the permission of the tutor.
