Cottage Core Embroidered Buttons with Claire Cousins Saturday 13 July 2024
Claire Cousins is a textile artist, experienced tutor, You-Tuber and founder of the Textiles East Fair. She has a passion for all things relating to textiles and wishes to share her love of hand embroidery in this unique workshop.
Welcome to our Cottage Core Embroidered Buttons Workshop! In this workshop, participants will learn the art of creating charming and whimsical embroidered buttons inspired by the cozy and nostalgic aesthetic of cottage core (a theme originally based on rural European life).
Claire will guide you through the process of selecting materials, designing intricate embroidery patterns and stitching them onto buttons to create unqiue and personalised accessories.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced crafter, this workshop offers a creative and relaxing environment to explore your creativity and add a touch of cottage core charm to your wardrobe. J
Join us and immerse yourself in the world of embroidery and cottage core aesthetics.
You will need to bring an embroidery needle, scissors and non-permanent marker pen.
Materials for the workshop are included in the price - 4 buttons and a selection of plain fabrics and embroidery threads.
You will have four designs on the day - Spring Garland, Daisies, Wreath and Toadstool.

In addition to spending your time crafting, Tudor Rose Patchwork offers a special lunchtime menu at O For Coffee for students. You can choose from a selection of jacket potatoes, sandwiches, paninis, toasties and soups.

Should Tudor Rose Patchwork have to cancel a workshop you will receive a full refund.

Should you wish to cancel your attendance on a workshop more than 30 days before the workshop date you will receive a refund less our £5 administration fee. Tudor Rose Patchwork may be able to transfer your booking to another date.

Should you wish to cancel your attendance on a workshop less than 30 days before the workshop date, your payment will only be refunded if we are able to fill your place, less our £5 administration fee.

Refunds will be made to card or paypal account that the original payment was made from or can be taken in the form of goods or other workshops or group dates to value of the refund being made.

If a pattern is available for the workshop and no refund is able then Tudor Rose Patchwork will arrange for you to receive the pattern.

Patterns are not available for workshops that you have not attended or paid for.

Patterns remain the property of the tutor and should not be copied, passed on or used for teaching purposes without the permission of the tutor.
