These clearance plates will fit virtually any sewing machine.  The plate helps you to sew large buttons on to heavy items such as overcoats and layers of thick fabric.   Allows you to sew over thick seams.

• The Clearance Plate creates a thread shank when sewing buttons in place. 

• Each end is a different thickness for more or less thread shank.

• It also can be used when sewing over heavy seams to balance the height of the foot.
