Hand Embroidered Home Sweet Home Needle Case with Kathleen Laurel Sage on Saturday 29 November 2025
At our studio in Oakley, near Bedford, spend the day with Kathleen Laurel Sage and create your own charming needle case inspired by a home sweet home, country house and garden theme.
- Kathleen will guide you in embroidering a delightful soft-covered case to keep your precious sewing needles safe and sound.
- Learn the techniques and placement of stitches, and gain insights into colour theory to confidently bring to life your unique piece of needlework.
- Throughout the day, Kathleen will demonstrate traditional embroidery stitches, offering you the opportunity to learn or refresh your skills in a supportive environment.
Once mastered, these make wonderful birthday or Christmas gifts for those crafty people in your life.

In addition to spending your time crafting there is a coffee shop on site - O For Coffee. Tudor Rose Patchwork offers students 10% discount on anything consumed from O For Coffee. As well as a large selection of hot and cold drinks, the menu includes jacket potatoes, sandwiches, paninis, toasties, soups. For those with a sweet tooth there is also a variety of cakes baked on site including gluten free and vegan options.

Should Tudor Rose Patchwork have to cancel a workshop you will receive a full refund.

Should you wish to cancel your attendance on a workshop more than 30 days before the workshop date you will receive a refund less our £5 administration fee. Tudor Rose Patchwork may be able to transfer your booking to another date.

Should you wish to cancel your attendance on a workshop less than 30 days before the workshop date, your payment will only be refunded if we are able to fill your place, less our £5 administration fee.

Refunds will be made to card or paypal account that the original payment was made from or can be taken in the form of goods or other workshops or group dates to value of the refund being made.

If a pattern is available for the workshop and no refund is able then Tudor Rose Patchwork will arrange for you to receive the pattern.

Patterns are not available for workshops that you have not attended or paid for.
