These clearance plates will fit virtually any sewing machine.  The plate helps you to sew large buttons for heavy items such as overcoats, parkas or all-season coats.    Allows you to sew buttons on over thick seams.
 
The Clearance Plate creates a thread shank when sewing buttons in place. 
Each end is a different thickness for more or less thread shank.
It also can be used when sewing over heavy seams to balance the height of the foot.
