In this workshop, join Caroline to explore the different shibori binding and wrapping techniques that create stunning patterns to create a set of 3 different sized hand dyed wrapping cloths known as furoshiki.  Use a range of colours or the more traditional indigo blue.   Learn a little about the origins of Shibori along with stories from Caroline's time spent living in Japan.  For instance, did you know that the uneven lines created by the technique are a visual representation of the Japanese belief in the beauty of imperfection.

You will need to wear old clothes on the day as well as bringing with you a range of other tools and supplies including Dylon Hand Dye.  Ciick here to buy from us in advance or pick up in store.  Caroline will also have a selection of the dyes too, to buy on the day.

In addition to spending your time crafting, Tudor Rose Patchwork offers a special lunchtime menu at O For Coffee for students.  You can choose from a selection of jacket potatoes, sandwiches, paninis, toasties and soups.

Cancellation Policy:

• Should Tudor Rose Patchwork have to cancel a workshop you will receive a full refund.
• Should you wish to cancel your attendance on a workshop more than 30 days before the workshop date you will receive a refund less our £5 administration fee.  Tudor Rose Patchwork may be able to transfer your booking to another date.
• Should you wish to cancel your attendance on a workshop less than 30 days before the workshop date, your payment will only be refunded if we are able to fill your place, less our £5 administration fee. 
• Refunds will be made to card or paypal account that the original payment was made from or can be taken in the form of goods or other workshops or group dates to value of the refund being made.
• If a pattern is available for the workshop and no refund is able then Tudor Rose Patchwork will arrange for you to receive the pattern.
• Patterns are not available for workshops that you have not attended or paid for.
• Patterns remain the property of the tutor and should not be copied, passed on or used for teaching purposes without  the permission of the tutor.
