Block Of The Month - Vinyl Vibes - with Janet Goddard
Put another record on with this retro musical themed quilt. The quilt showcases record cover blocks with half LPs popping out, appliqued records and lyrics, musical notation and piano keys. The quilt can be personalised with your own lyrics and motifs if desired.
The techniques of machine piecing and machine applique are covered in the workshops.
Janet has made her quilt using fabrics in a bright colour palette using both plain and patterned fabrics but we think it would work with most fabric combinations.
£158.00 for all 5 sessions.
Dates for 2026: Saturdays 10 January, 14 February, 14 March, 11 April and 9 May.
Each month will cover a different section of the quilt and its completion:
January - Half LPs and plain LP covers
February - Pieced LP cover blocks
March - Appliqued text and records
April - Outer border and appliqued notation
May - Appliqued piano keys, finishing and quilting.

As well as a large selection of hot and cold drinks, the menu includes jacket potatoes, sandwiches, paninis, toasties, soups.
