This gorgeous Sunset DIY embroidery kit is the perfect beginner's introduction to hand embroidery.

• Each pattern is printed onto a water soluble adhesive fabric stabiliser - when the kit arrives, simply peel the pattern off the backing paper and stick it onto your fabric. Once you've finished stitching, the stabiliser dissolves away in lukewarm water.

Using DMC threads to create a colourful mountain scene, this kit includes everything you need to create your own piece of modern embroidery. The sunset design uses 10 different embroidery stitches, and the practical kit instructions provide all of the guidance (and photos) that you need to learn each technique.
