Vintage Sewing Patterns 1930s dress has slightly flared bias skirt with buttoned waist front. Gathers in side-waist front sections create fullness in bustline. Dress has small round collar or tie collar, short sleeves gathered at shoulders with or without sleeveband, and side placket for snap closing.
