Purple Boots has a background in art education, working in the field since 2001. She has worked in a range of settings both as a teacher and as an artist in residence with children from nursery age upwards to adults. Purple Boots has a passion for all things creative and learnt most of her making skills at the knee of her mum and other family members before completing a degree in art education.

Since joining Tudor Rose she has also undertaken training with Powertex and is now a certified tutor. She has a huge passion for all things green and the majority of her work incorporates many elements of recycling from old t-shirts to lace doilies and even left over keys. Look closely at any of these samples in store to see if you can work out their heritage!
