Tutor: Susan Briscoe Learn how to do simple freezer paper applique by machine and make fan blocks for your own version of Susan Briscoe’s ‘Sensu’ (fans) quilt, from her book ‘Japanese Quilting Inspirations’. This easy technique produces lovely fan blocks without needing to use curved piecing. Pre-printed templates are provided for you to cut out and use. ‘Sensu’ is the ideal design for showing off large scale prints in the strips between the blocks too.
