Tutor: Mary Mayne The chickens for this quilt are such fun to make and can be made from all your scrap materials.  Any colours can be used and you will be surprised at the way florals can look just like feathers in this workshop!  The chickens are made up with the aid of a Teflon sheet and then placed on your chosen background fabrics.  They make a great border for kitchen curtains, a motif for the pocket of an apron, or placed on the side of a bag.
