Gold Work Poppies Workshop with Kathleen Laurel Sage

Tutor: Kathleen Laurel Sage Come and learn the traditional techniques of couching gold cords, twists and wires to create a contemporary poppy design. Add some padded gold leather, a sprinkling of beads and some simple surface stitching and you will have beautiful embroidery to grace your home. If you have never tried gold work before this is a good design to start with while allowing the more advanced student to add their own skills and grow the design.
